The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is famous for its impressive landscapes and the 'close view' of the great mountain ranges of the Himalayas. Once you reach the base camp, 360° mountain panorama surrounds you with huge snow-capped peaks. The main peaks of the Western Annapurna mountain range, which include Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Gangapurna and Machhapuchhare seem to have been arranged almost exactly in a circle with a diameter of about 15km, in the middle of which a deep glacier gorge winds, through which you can see the breathtakingly beautiful giant of Annapurna I (8,081m). The trek offers fantastic views, wide landscapes with terraced fields and huge forests of rhododendron. It is one of the best ways to get very close to the Himalayas in a short time with 'average' fitness. Explore the heart of the Annapurna mountain range on your trek to the Annapurna Base Camp, a truly magnificent and dramatically beautiful mountain view not to be forgotten soon.
