This holistic path of how to lead a healthy meaningful life has its roots in India. Yoga helps to bring the mind, heart and body into balance and to feel positively
connected with ourselves and our environment.
Selected practises of meditation, breathing and relaxation as well as physical movement increase our awareness of our own self. With regular practise this enables us to feel our physical body more and with further practise also to become more aware of our thoughts and feelings. Breathing practise improves the oxygen supply, calms the mind, relaxes the nervous system and supplies energy to the body. Physical practise stabilises the physical body, releases tension in the muscles, strengthens the heart, circulation and skeletal system as well as increases the mobility of joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments. All positive effects can unfold in relaxation allowing our mental and emotional activities to come to rest and to finally sense a feeling of inner peace.
Being able to see and to recognise our thought patterns and behavior patterns enables us to acknowledge our inner limitations, which we can then overcome positively step by step with continiuous inner work.
Yoga is suitable for all those who want to strengthen themselves and experience physical, mental and emotional serenity in everyday life, who want to develop internally and who ask themselves the questions "who am I?", "where do I come from?" and "where am I going?.
